EasyBib App Reaches 200,000 Downloads

In today’s world, everything can be done on your smart phone – from buying a coffee at Starbucks to depositing a check. Since May 2011, EasyBib has been offering users to cite a book by a click of a button on an iPhone, iPod, Android, or iPad. Recently, the application reached 200,000 downloads!

By using the application, you can create accurate MLA, APA, and Chicago style citations in seconds by scanning a book bar code or by typing the name of a book. Once you’re done, email your citations and then export your citations to EasyBib.com.

You can do more than just citing a source, we’ve heard that Librarian’s are using the application to keep track of books that they want to read. So if you’re browsing the library or book store, scan the bar code and start compiling your summer book list!

In the future, we’re plan on making all of the features on the website available on the apps. Keep checking back for updates!
